The Links Incorporated is an international organization of woman with 276 chapters in 40 states, the District of Columbia, Nassau, Bahamas, Frankfort Germany, and South Africa. Founded in November 1946, since its inception the organization has addressed community concerns in the areas of education, cultural, and civic commitment. A program provides enrichment experiences for talented youth who are educationally disadvantaged and culturally deprived, as well as for talented youth who need assistance. The Links, Incorporated Anchorage Chapter was chartered May 5, 2001, and its members are committed to the organization’s international goals that are implemented through service to the Anchorage community. We are an organization of accomplished, dedicated women who are active in our community. We work toward making the name “Links” a chain of purposeful service.
One-time scholarship ranging from $500 - $1000 will be awarded in the spring of 2019. All scholarships awarded are for use during the 2018-19 academic year. The deadline for requesting funds for the 2019-2020 academic year is December 31, 2019. Applicants not attending the first semester must submit a letter requesting a delay for funds. The deadline for this funds request must be received or postmarked by December 31, 2019.
Students whom meet the following criteria are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Completed printed or typed application form.
Official Grades and Transcripts.
Two (2) Personal Letters of Recommendations with References.
