International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against

Since the beginning, various types of violence against women and girls, particularly domestic violence have intensified around the world at an unprecedented rate.  Along with humanitarian crises and increasing climate-related disasters, women's feelings of safety have eroded, both at home and in public spaces, with significant negative impacts on their mental and emotional well-being.  The Links, Incorporated is an international women-led organization working with women and girls throughout the world to bring about an awareness of the threats that face women and girls and find solutions to ensuring their safety.  The Links, Incorporated has partnered with the United Nations for The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25, 2021.  There will be a 16-day campaign against gender-based violence, November 25-December 10th.
